From left Mr. Jan Ostrup (Global Business Director for Newborn and Child Screening, Perkin Elmer and based in Torku, Finland) and Mr. Greg Northfield (Seperation Scientific). Mr. Ostrup was the Keynote Speaker at the opening session and the topic of his address was “Screening the way to better health”.

At the Medical Technology Congress, Orb Diagnostics did something out of the ordinary. They had sushi on their stand with a sushi chef from the local CTFM preparing the fresh delicacies. This was a big hit at the congress! When asked the guys from Orb responded by saying that this is what Orb Diagnostics is all about. Giving attention to detail just like preparing sushi! In the photograph you can see the chef and waitress with Miekie Welgemoed from Orb diagnostics at the back.
